Simon Le Bon Chronicles 2 – Stranded
I opened my eyes in confusion. Where was I? Palms and sand and water everywhere. And why was I lying in the sand naked like a stranded mermaid?
Slowly my memory came back. On my flight back from New York there had been strong turbulences and the plane crashed into the Pacific. Bodies and suitcases were floating around me, I grabbed one big suitcase and swam for miles and hours. I just couldn’t allow myself to fall asleep, or I would be lost. A shark tried to eat me, but he missed me and just ripped off all of my clothes. Then, after an eternity, I finally saw land, and after that I don’t remember…
I felt the horror. It was a nightmare. I was stranded naked on a lonely island, all alone. What would I do here, how would I survive? Let me open this suitcase. Maybe there would be some helpful tools and weapons, maybe even a functioning phone. But when I opened it… there was only sex stuff. The newest lingerie from Paris: bras, panties, suspenders, and corsets in all colors and shapes, transparent, shiny, red, black… I searched further, and I found red lipstick and nail polish, perfume, lotions, and a few pairs of killer high heels. It was ridiculous. Of all suitcases I had picked the most useless one to help me survive on a lonely island. It was embarrassing, I started to cry in despair.
Suddenly I heard a distant voice singing an ancient melody “… wonder where is glory, where is all you angels… wild boys…”
I stood up and walked towards the voice. Could it be that I was not alone on this island after all? I was hopeful and afraid at the same time, what would await me? After a while I could see the back of a man sitting around a fire, eating a snake and drinking from a coconut.
I came closer and warily said “Hey”. The man turned around his head.
Oh my god.
It was Simon LeBon.
The international pop star that had disappeared without a trace 2 months ago.
