Simon Le Bon Chronicles 3 – Lady Vengeance
We were having our weekly meeting to discuss the latest operations.I starred at my people- those wankers, I hated them all. But since I had taken over my father’s crime syndicate after he passed away last year, I had to deal with them.
Franco this loser was trying to explain the missing amount of protection money. Since he had become a father, he had discovered his soft side and turned us into the laughing stock of the town. I pressed the tip of my knife against my thigh and my features derailed when I thought about how I would execute him later. Maybe I’d just lock him in a small room, put a straw through the lock and let the others suck the air out of that room until this motherfucker was dead…
Suddenly Spicoli and Tony stumbled in, covered in blood. Good, because they were supposed to kill that dirty officer who gave me a ticket for texting while driving.
“Spiderdust, we have a problem!” Spicoli said, breathlessly.
Oh my God, not one day without hearing these words was granted to me. Maybe I’d cut all their tongues off one day and operate as silent syndicate.
“Did you finish this officer?” I asked.
“Yes boss, but…”
“But what?” I pushed the knife deeper in my thighs.
“Boss… We have a witness. Somebody saw us… But don’t worry, we got him!”
My knuckles on the knife’s handle were white now.
“You idiotic, worthless microbes. You degenerated, dehumanized…” I stopped myself- suddenly I felt an endless fatigue. It had no sense. “Bring him in.”
They had put him in a sack that they threw in, I heard bones crack. Spicoli and Tony kicked the sack to look like cruel hard men. I felt like a bag of slime was pourn all over me.
“Open the fucking sack.” I ordered without any expression
When they lifted the sack, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Out crawled Simon Le Bon, my eternal crush since I was a teenager. Oh Simon… what had they done to my sweet Simon? His face all bruised and bloody, welts over his arms, legs broken.
Oh, my baby…
A tender sadness took over my heart as my features derailed, but soon turned into relentless, hot fury. These worthless pieces of shit. I took my machine gun and combed through the room, bullets cutting the air and weaving a bloody pall of terror, killing them all.
I picked Simon up and carried him through the door.
“My darling, I’ll take care of you. I’ll make it good again…”
He wrapped his arms around my neck.

This is poignant but also passionately depraved. It’s everything I wish my romantic life could be. I envy you and Simon.
